History
The small Idaho town of Inkom, which means to come ahead, is a part of the Pocatello Metropolitan Area and shares much of the same history as that area. The land was originally inhabited by the Shoshone Indian tribe until European trappers and fur traders came to the land and pioneers began taking over the area. The popular Pebble Creek Ski Resort was built in Inkom in 1947 when the Alpette Ski Club pulled together their money and began the foundations of the resort. Since then the mountains of Inkom have pulled in tourists from all over to this beautiful mountain town.
